Formats I Teach
Prenatal
Designed for all stages of pregnancy to support the many changes in the pregnant body and help soothe and alleviate common discomforts. Strengthen, stretch, and nurture your pregnant body through mindful movement to feel empowered during this unique journey and prepare for birth!
Postnatal
Specifically designed to support you in the postpartum recovery period regardless of how you gave birth. This practice will help you regain physical strength, alleviate physical discomforts, and promote relaxation. Reconnect to yourself and your body after giving birth. Some classes allow for babies to join who are not yet mobile and promote bonding with your new baby.
Yin
Yin is complementary to Vinyasa yoga (aka “yang” style of yoga). Unlike vinyasa which focuses on your muscles, yin yoga focuses on deep connective tissues. Yin is a slower, more meditative practice where most poses are held for 3-5min and sometimes longer.
Vinyasa
Vinyasa = connection of movement + breath. Expect a gradual progression of poses and sequences. We start slow and work through each pose individually to work on alignment, often holding poses for a few breaths. Once we have our alignment, we progress into one breath per movement and get in a flow.
Yoga Sculpt
Get your sweat on in this yoga class with weights for a full body workout! This class helps you build strength, endurance, and flexibility through strength training, high intensity cardio, and core mixed in with traditional yoga poses.
Meditation
Plan to sit still (in a comfortable position) to open and focus your mind in order to observe your thoughts and feelings without judgement. This powerful practice is a great manifestation tool and can help you clear your thoughts, become calm, increase self-awareness, reduce stress and negativity, and find inner peace.
